Rise pinta a los Teletubbies, Túnel lateral de "La Mina de Oro"

Comment:
"Under some of Toronto's most exclusive real-estate, 5 stories below Bloor Street, is The Gold Mine, an illegal gallery located next to the legendary secret subway station: Lower Bay Station. It has it's own tunnels connecting Toronto's busiest stations, and it is the only station taken out of service. The TGM Crew is a collective of street graffiti writers who use the walls near the station to put up work and invite others to. I travelled with and photographed the crew for 10 months on freelance assignment for a Toronto magazine."

All of these were done in the spring and summer of 2001

"Debajo de algunas de las propiedades mas exclusivas y caras de Toronto, 5 pisos más abajo de la calle Bloor se encuentra "La Mina de Oro", una galería ilegal situada junto a la Lower Bay Station, la legendaria estación secreta. Es la única fuera de servicio, pero tiene túneles que la conectan directamente con las estaciones más utilizadas del metro de Toronto."La Mina de Oro" es un colectivo de artistas del grafffiti que utiliza las paredes cercanas a la estación para colocar su trabajo e invitar a otros a hacer lo mismo.Viajé y fotografié al colectivo durante 10 meses en un reportaje para una revista de Toronto."

Todo este trabajo fué realizado en la primavera y verano del 2001.
